Boadicea Azrak 100ml Tester

The azure chromatics of oceans are dazzling and Azrak, the Arabic word for blue, echoes this in its fathomless depths of fresh floral perfume play.  A hypnotic blue lullaby with hidden depths. Inspired by the oceanic tones of cobalt, ultramarine, azure, turquoise reflecting the suns rays and flecked white. Like surfing in exhilarating barrel waves engulfed by the roar of crystalline waters. 

Azrak is a fascinating perfume. The interesting fact is that the perfume is inspired by sea blues and the hypnotic sparkle of light on the waters but contains no references to the saline or aquatic aspect of the sea. A blue bottle, an encapsulation of colour, foaming edges, tonal shifts of oceanic chroma without reverting to cliched expectations. Coastal holidays, flower-strewn clifftops, looking down on shimmering seas.

The top opens with a rush of green fruit: ripe pineapple and snapped foliage. A dash of sweet citron pressé with a hint of animalic bitter cassis. Cardamom and cinnamon add subtle spiciness. The heart of this lavish floral is a creamy bouquet of intoxicating flowers. An overdose of ambrosial roses blended with the vintage powder of violet and the shadowed green of violet leaf. Lily of the valley and jasmine lend white freshness and calm. As this generous heart blooms, there are hints of lipstick traces on porcelain cups. 

Azrak is anchored by classic Boadicea base notes of glowing amber, woods, oud and musks but the beautiful cobalt impact of the perfume lies in the lush, delectable heart that seduces the senses creating a beautiful ocean of emotions.
