Boadicea The Victorious Harmonious 100ml

This richly spiced floral perfume is housed in a translucent red bottle with a pewter shield suggesting tenderness and strength. The word harmonious means among things something containing elements that work flawlessly together without jarring and dissonance. Ambrette seed is the gently feral powdered musk with a hint of meadow pollen and leather used to bolster and carrot notes. In the top of Harmonious this wonderful ambrette seed is doused in a boozy gourmand rum and cognac mix mixed with classic Boadicea spices of saffron, cinnamon and cardamom. A squeeze of bergamot balances out any potential over sweetness. 

The ambrette is echoed in the heart of Harmonious by orris root and dewy rose de mai, both allied to a subtle mix of soft woods over coriander seed. The powder of ambrette and orris sink into a lovely suede effect in the base, a touch of supple leather, the scent of treasured it bags. The final touches are vanillic amber, vetiver and milky sandalwood.
